Why not?

  • Prevents potential home shaming: The home and belongings are incredibly personal, and objects can be held close to the heart. A gift of home organizing could potentially be viewed in the same way as a gift of unwanted fitness equipment. If your loved one is struggling to find things in their space and is overwhelmed by their items, mention Organization Pending's services and encourage them to reach out.

  • Ensures your friend or family member is ready to start the process: Scheduling a free virtual assessment allows Tabi to meet the potential client and their home, and talk about the goals for each space and where issues are arising that prevent functionality.

  • Prevents overbuying of home organizing hours: A single project has taken anywhere from 3 to 30 hours, and is unable to be determined prior to a free virtual assessment with a potential new client.

  • Guarantees the most beneficial "after": When everyone is on the same page, clients can learn long-lasting skills through Training Sessions, guaranteeing the maximum benefit from working with Organization Pending.

What's the right way to organize?

Every home and family is unique - Owner/Operator Tabi says, "There's not a right way to organize, there's a right way for you and your family." During your free virtual assessment and while decluttering, Tabi will learn about about your family, how your spaces are currently being used, what's working well already, and what the major (and minor) struggles are.

What's considered when creating personalized systems in your home:

  • height differences, dietary needs, and specific requirements and requests for each family member

  • pet needs and requirements for keeping your food, shoes, and valuables safe

  • visual needs and preferences

  • backstock options in shared spaces

  • different needs at different ages and stages of life

  • how items function daily or seasonally

  • product options based on your budget - Organization Pending will reuse or repurpose as much as possible within the home first, and discuss DIY alternatives before or instead of recommending organization products

  • storage limitations of individual spaces and the home

How long does it take to declutter and organize?

How much will home organizing cost?

Every home, family, and project is unique. During your free virtual assessment, Tabi will learn:

  • about about you and your family, and each member's specific organization needs

  • how your spaces are currently being used

  • what's working well already

  • what the major (and minor!) struggles are in your household

  • product options based on your budget, including DIY and repurposed options

  • what kind of assistance best fits your needs and budget

How can I decrease the hours I need with a home organizer?

  • Start with the space you want Organization Pending to focus on first, and schedule decluttering sessions with yourself. Look for trash, donations, and recycling, removing them from the space without moving the remaining items.

  • Visit the Community Recommendations page to find the same resources Organization Pending uses most often for donation and recycling.

  • Reach out to schedule your free virtual assessment and unlock your decluttered home's full functionality.

How can I save money while decluttering and organizing?

Don't buy before we try! â€‹During your free virtual assessment, we'll discuss your budget for organizing products. Many times, reusing products a client already owns, or creating DIY repurposed alternatives can create the functionality your household needs, without additional cost.
