Does Organization Pending offer gift cards/gift certificates for home organizing services?

No, other than periodic online giveaways. For those interested in gifting home organizing services, we are able to accept payment for services from anyone through Venmo or over the phone with a credit card. We encourage those interested in gifting services to show their loved one Organization Pending's website and social media, and to reach out at to set up a free virtual assessment.

Why not?

  • Prevents potential home shaming: The home and belongings are incredibly personal, and objects can be held close to the heart. A gift of home organizing could potentially be viewed in the same way as a gift of unwanted fitness equipment. If your loved one is struggling to find things in their space and is overwhelmed by their items, mention Organization Pending's services and encourage them to reach out!

  • Ensures your friend or family member is ready to start the process: Scheduling a free virtual assessment allows Tabi to meet the potential client and their home, and talk about the goals for each space and where issues are arising that prevent functionality.

  • Prevents overbuying of home organizing hours: A single project has taken anywhere from 3 to 30 hours - during a virtual assessment we talk about ways clients can decrease organizer hours, and what kinds of assistance they need focus on, preventing you from purchasing unneeded hours.

  • Guarantees the most beneficial "after": When everyone is on the same page, clients can learn long-lasting skills through Training Sessions, guaranteeing the maximum benefit from working with Organization Pending.

What's the right way to organize?

Every home and family is unique, Organization Pending's philosophy is "There's not a right way to organize, there's a right way for you and your family." During your free virtual assessment and while decluttering, Tabi will learn about about you and your family, how your spaces are currently being used, what's working well already, and what the major (and minor!) struggles are.

What's considered when creating personalized functional systems in your home:

  • height differences, dietary needs, and specific requirements and requests for each family member

  • pet needs and requirements for keeping your food, shoes, and valuables safe

  • visual needs and preferences

  • backstock options in shared spaces

  • different needs at different ages and stages of life

  • how items function daily or seasonally

  • product options based on your budget - Organization Pending will reuse or repurpose as much as possible within the home first, and discuss DIY alternatives before or instead of recommending organization products

  • storage limitations of individual spaces and the home

How can I save money while organizing?
