Organization Pending's Top Columbus and Upper Arlington Donation and Recycling Resources: Tip of the Month

Tabi Berkey, Owner/Operator Organization Pending

home organizing "before"" the back corner of a garage is piled with bins and boxes - the bins reach the ceiling towards the back left corner

In every home, there are items waiting to be decluttered - things you know shouldn't go in the trash, but you're not sure who accepts them, and items that might be donatable, but you're not sure who could use them. And sometimes as these piles grow, you know the different locations you need to go to - but finding the time seems impossible, and the pile keeps growing until you can't park in the garage. Part of my job as a home organizer is helping to complete the process between making a decision about an item, and knowing what to do with decluttered items.

"They are a wealth of information about recycling, reduce, and reuse options in the Columbus area so I know I am able to rehome or recycle my extra stuff responsibly." -Deborah, in-person client

"Knowing our belongings were not just going to a generic donation facility or landfill made sorting so much easier. They took care of all the details of the best location for donations by category." -Stacie, in-person client

Organization Pending LLC is celebrating 4 years in January! Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to leave a review, or talk about my services with friends and neighbors. Thank you to the clients who have taken that step to ask for help, working with me to overcome situational and life-long clutter, and other home organizing challenges.

Thank you to fellow business owners and other home organizers for creating a network and common spaces for support.
